Two people have been killed in separate road accidents at Bhaluka in Mymensingh.
Police said one bicyclist, Moklesur Rahman, 40, of Nishinda village, died on the spot when a speeding microbus ran him over at Nishinda on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 11am on Friday.
Officer in-charge of Bhaluka Police Station Narandranath Sarker told bdnews24.com that the deceased hailed from Nishinda village.
In another accident, an unidentified woman was crushed under the wheels of a running truck near Masterbari in the same upazila around 11:30am.
